An orthodontic appointment is fifteen minutes of work wrapped in however long the office keeps you waiting. We schedule so that the second number stays near zero, and when your treatment needs your general dentist or an oral surgeon, we book that visit for you instead of handing you a phone number.

Meet Dr. Jeff Schur
Dr. Schur trained at the University of Washington Department of Orthodontics and went back to teach there as an Affiliate Associate Professor. He has served the Eastside for decades and sat as Treasurer of the Seattle King County Dental Society’s Foundation Board.
He keeps current through orthodontic society meetings, Invisalign seminars and local study clubs, which is a long way of saying the plan he draws for you reflects what the field knows now, not what it knew when he graduated.
Multidisciplinary Care, Coordinated
Some smiles need more than one set of hands: a general dentist, an oral surgeon, a periodontist, sometimes all three. Dr. Schur’s particular interest is assembling that team and keeping it in step, so each doctor works from the same plan and the same timeline.
Piecemeal care is how treatment stretches out and answers stop matching. This is the alternative.
New To The Practice
Your first visit is an exam, a conversation about what you want changed, and a straight answer on what treatment would involve and what it costs. No pressure to start that day.
We see children, teens and adults, and treat plenty of patients who decided in their forties that they had waited long enough.
Your First Visit
Plan on about an hour. You will meet Dr. Schur, not a coordinator who fetches him later, and you will leave knowing your options, the likely length of treatment and the cost of each path.
